We've created an Integra FAQ thread that adresses this exact question.

Bodykits are designed to mount using a combination of adhesives and in many cases, they also use the same mounting points used by the stock body pieces. This makes it difficult to take a kit from one model and graft it onto another. So it's going to be difficult and expensive to make a '90-93 kit fit an '85-'89 car. It will look strange as well IMO.

*Our Appearance & Cosmetic forum handles these questions, while we focus on the performance, upgrade and maintenance topics.
(IMHO, very few bodykits are worth the investement).

Simple economics. When you're outside the mainstream, prices go up.
Plenty of people have modded up the 94-01 Integra, but few people have modded the 1st gen ('85 to '89) Integra.
This means fewer performance parts for the 1st Gen are sold. When fewer parts are sold, manufacturers raise the sale price so they can turn a profit with a smaller number of sales.

C'est la vie.

Wrong and wrong. The 88-91 Civic & CRX shared their suspension with the 1990-1993 Integra, not the 1985 to 89 model years. And the 86-89 Accord suspension has no interchangible parts with the Integra.
