I'm getting into this discussion late, but I appear to be at the same point MrChad was when he started this thread.
02 Accord Coupe - trying to figure out what speakers will fit, what I may have to do to get them to fit, how to remove the door panels, etc.

When they say the stock opening is 2 inches, am I understanding correctly that this can be increased by cutting off the back of the basket? Any negative side effects from doing this? If I wanted to make a spacer instead, how is that done? Can someone give me a run-down on removing the door panels?
