I am new to the threads but I live over here in Okinawa Japan and was thinking about bringing my civic back and it not that hard to get registered. You just have to have everything converted over to U.S. spec. Example: doors have to be reinforced, Windshield, guages, bumpers, headlights pointed in other direction and a few other misc things and then the paper work. When all said and done to make it legal maybe around $5000 just take the stuff back off. The reason the milage is so low is because there are so many cars hear they arnt worth as much like the states, you cant drive that far or very fast before you have to stop because of the ocean or stoplight and so many people. People are allways getting new cars. I have seen almost brand new cars here in the junk yard and wonder why they are there. I feel like I am blabing on now.
