IMO It's easier to make a comparison if we talk in miles per gallon.
Our gas gauges aren't all that accurate.

My commute is mostly suburban, and over the last two years, I've averaged 26.07 MPG in my '97 LS. I do admit to having a heavy right foot. :rick:
My best mileage yet was on my road trip to SEMA last fall.
With constant speed and light traffic, I averaged 33.25 MPG between SF and Buttonwillow, CA.
So if you're coming out to somewhere in the 23-25 MPG range on a single fillup, you're not too far off.
