When they first released information about their x-runner their was talk of a supercharger pushing the engine to 300HP. All the forums I have read have confilicting information about a supercharger but I would be willing to bet a large amount that toyota comes out with one. They have a supercharger for almost every application. You can email TRD and ask them if they have any more information about it.
Also, I think it would be a good idea to wait until 06 to pick up the truck. It would give them more time to work out all the little things that have been a problem.
no the actual information is that there was a lack of communication between TRD and toyota on the specs of the engine, and since the engine is running a major comp ratio (like 10.?? :1) trd said they would rather not make a supercharger for it, or at least thast what i've accumulated :dunno:
it seems when it was first accnouced it was speculated, then it was confirmed by toyota that it was in the works, then the engine specs rolled around and TRD said "we dont think so" and toyota retraced their previous statement... fatbooty may have an answer for us on this one
