when i got my liscence, you only had to have a permit for a month :reechy: they changed it though. i maybe got in like, 2 hours of driving experience. then the day after i got it, we bought my car and i went straight to work. I freaked out when i left though because it was nighttime and i couldn't figure out my headlights. its quite possible that i drove all the way home with my highbeams on
