Hi guys...
Before i get bombarded with emails... just want to ask everyones expert advise and experience about the swap...
Basically im in australia, mechanics here dont normally play around with hondas that much and charge an arm and leg for labour!
Fortunately I have an uncle whos helping me do the swap, at the moment we unsure on how long this is going to take?
How many hours does say engine removal, to preparing, then wiring then installing the best?
Assuming that the F22b (non-vtec) is a manual to start with how long would this swap take...
Also ive sourced myself out a H22a JDM with 5 speed + ECU + and wiring... i have one problem, the wiring has all been cut off before the plugs... will this cause a problem?
I read the h22.org guide that i can use the accord wiring harness and add those missing wires for the vtec and knock sensors....
Can i also reuse some of the sensors on my F22B on the h22a?
I recently purchased a heavy duty clutch for the F22b the clutch from this should work fine with the h22a yeah? Probably gonna invest in a lightened flywheel...
Does anyone know what the part number is or what those three bearings are called at the end of your drive shafts? They are the once that are protected by the CV boot ....
What could be the problem with the clutch fluid running low more frequent... Would that be a sign of replacing something i dont know? I havent flushed the fluids as yet...
I think ive written up a essay... sorry for making you guys read so much
