When you get the stock head off, the extent of the damage should be readily apparent. Since Honda uses hyperecutic (high-pressure cast) pistons, they ought to be okay. h: (I'm sorry if that last comment sounds disconcerting; you can't do a whole lot of diagnosis over the web.)
