It would certainly improve the state of music; instead of being mass manafactured music to sell, it would be musicians involved for the love of music. The problem is that the ranks of people who stand to lose are Rich White Men(tm), and talentless hot bodies who are their pawns... they would raise too much of a stink for it to ever happen.

But it would be great to have music return to being made with talent and love.
