Too late to the thread. But I think you shouldn't finish the work. Just leave it like that and have her worry about it.
But yeah that is one bitch if you ask me. Save money on working on a car for your friend and she can't get you a friggin sub? That's screwed up.
Just for that you SHOULD inconvience her so she's late to all her appointments.
