Hey, if you're just looking for the handle removal (to put in an aftermarket). Your best bet is to get some WD40, and spray it into the gap between the handle and the release button. Give it a minute or two, and just start twisting the handle left to right and gradually pull it off. It's your easiest bet. (If the handle is the same as a 97.. if there are screws and you've already taken it off... well this post is pretty pointless....)
