we were so poor we used to use rocks as money! I'm not talking about precious stones, nope... the kind you find on the street. You spend a day picking up a bucket full of those and you were a rich man.

That is untill the bucket tipped over... then they weren't worth anything so we had to sit there and throw them at cars till they were worth something.

And we did that in the snow with no shoes and throwing uphill! And we were thankful.
