No and yes. The angle of the pipe has nothing to do with performance. However, the bends in the pipe may effect performance if they are not mandrel bends. A mandrel bend means basically that the bent metal has been smoothed out on the inside, bent by a machine, to allow the exhaust to be more free flowing. Non-mandrel bends will effect performance very little if any. The Invidia exhaust has mandrel bends.
