people will believe what they want..........in terms of engine reliability i'd say all of them are decently close.........but its the little things............go on svtperformance........all of them have problems with mirrors/windows/locks/stereo/clunking/rattling/leaks/squeals.................and they think its normal............i don't think its normal for a car to have all those problems.........tell him to buy a new taurus and see how well it holds up.

Also, I am an ASE certified tech..........although i don't work in a shop i got certified before............Ford's have notoriously weak frames, at the Ford school in Colorado there is i think a taurus? and anyways, the lift was put on the wrong points and the whole frame crumpled up. Not to mention if u measure 2 civic body panels they will be identical, can't say the same for Ford.........no 2 ford panels match even though they are the same part..........and thats from a 20 year Ford technician
