Thanks eclypz for ur reply, I think my car the vti is known as a si in the US, anywayz after talking to a few mates in my area they think the integra type r (i think this is known in da US as a integra GSR??) is the best tranny to go with, as my car is 175bhp with 120 f/lb torque and the integra is 187bhp with peak torque of 131 f/lb, as my car is also 40kg lighter and i aim to get it chipped and cam'd (stage 1) i should be producing that or more than that neway (i think?) so it shouldn't slow my car down in 4th and 5th gear, but it will make it quicker in 1st,2nd and 3rd!! i hope so anyway!
Is the integra tranny stronger/harder wearing than the civic tranny??
I also have 1 question rergarding cams, is it possible to get cams which are stage 1 before vtec and stage 2 after?? if not why? if so, where can i get them!!
