the stroke on the b18b as well as the b20 are larger than the b18c from what i've heard, so you might have the same reving problems as the b18b, as well as thinner cylinder walls.
i'd suggest gsr turbo or ls turbo before crvtec
the b18b and b20b/z have the same r/s ratio. if you want to rev high with this setup, aftermarket rods and pistons, balance the bottom end, throw in a crank girdle if you want, and you should have no problem revving to 8-9k.
