I actually removed my caliper altogether, nailed it with brake parts cleaner, and hit it with a wire brush on a drill... removing ALL the nasty shit that was baked on there before I put on 5 coats of 1200*F high-temp aluminum-colored paint. how long ago did u do that?
paint doesn't harden as solid at powder coat does, there for it will not last like a quality powder coating job
