I got scammed on ebay trying to buy a plasma TV. I did manage to get the guy arrested. But I never saw my money again. Small consolation. I will not buy anything on ebay unless it's of small value and wouldnt' be too distraught if I lost my $20.

There are scammers everywhere and I have had to learn the hard way to be suspicious of everyone I do business with, taking measure to protect myself. I will no longer wire money anywhere unless it's to someone I know well. I would recommend everyone do the same as well.
