I'm about to pick up a turbo '90 Laser. I may not sell the civic, but I'm toying with the idea because I don't need 4 cars in my driveway, or insurance on more than 2. There's only 1 of me. The civic is an amazingly reliable spare car. I may sell the Laser after I go through it. I haven't decided yet.
DONT BUY A 90 LASER!!!! YOU WILL HAVE BITCH TIME FIXING IT WHEN IT BREAKS!!! This is coming from a guy who had a 90 laser so trust me, mine was non turbo but the same things apply. 1990 is the year before EXSTENSIVE changes were made. Your MUCH better off getting 92-94 but if you must have pop up head lights get the 91. Just beware your not looking at a friendly daily driver when you go DSM, you will be fixing things, and depending on the car and your luck, you could be fixing things quite often. That being said though, there great cars and have alot to offer but really take my word on avoiding the 1990
