Hello Everyone,

I'm looking into getting new speakers for my car. I'm thinking about buying either the Alpine Type-R 6 1/2" Component 2-Way Speakers (SPR-17LS) or the Alpine Type-S 6 1/2" Component 2-Way Speakers (SPS-171A) ... does anyone know if they basically have the same sound quality and everything? I'm just asking because the Type S's cost a decent amount less. Also, is there any other component speakers that would compare to the Alpine's for <$150 a pair? Thank you for any advice...
