I thought about doing that too, but I am afraid if I keep letting it smack the side of the floor pan, then the pipe is going to become disjointed at one of the welds again because of the movement, thus more work for me....
I would like to fix it permenantly, or at least till I buy another exhaust in a couple of years.... but this pipe has a lot of life left in it still...
