They tend to settle over years. You should note that the height is also dependent on the struts. I had the H&R Sports on Stock (BLOWN) struts for a while before matching them with AGX's, and the height was lower. That was a great setup both in handling and comfort.
when i got mine, i swapped in the AGX's at the same time. i went from ~4 finger gap at stock to < 1 finger gap.
