low fuel = conservative running?
I swear I am no imagining it but when my car is very low on fuel it seems to be a lot slower and less responsive because as soon as I put a lot of gas in it, it feels quicker and more responsive all around. Am I starving the motor or is it going into a conservative mode to keep from starving itself. It will also cut out if I accelerate hard suddenly when it is very low. Is this bad for it?
