Got this email from my prof. Damn, i had perfect attendance too.
The attendance sheet for the course is missing.
I asked at the start of the course that it be left *at the front of
the classroom* when everyone had signed in. Yesterday, I last saw it
at the far left of the classroom, with people signing in as I handed
back the quizzes. I assumed it had been left with my papers on the
front desk, and that I had gathered it up with them at the end of the
class. It wasn't among those papers, however.
If it was left on a desk in the room, it has been thrown out. I've
just been to the classroom, and it is not there.
If one of you have it in your files by mistake, please let me know
ASAP and drop it off at my office (303 Weaver) or in my mailbox in
105 Weaver ASAP. This has happened before, in other courses, esp.
when quizzes/exams are given back.
If it is missing, we must start taking attendance again from square
one, erasing the record to date, as that is the only record of your
attendance in existence. This means that if you've been coming to
class regularly, you're record to date is gone and we have to start
again. This is not good.
Please guard the attendance sheet carefully. It's in your own
interests to do so.
