Falken ..512s get top billing by Consumer Report and my buddy had a set and loved them.

I've tried the Michelins MXV4s, the Dunlops SP2s, and the Yokos Avid T4. The Michelins wear fast and are too expensive. The Dunlops wore out quickly and were noisey as hell. The Yokos were OK but not great in handling.

The BFGoodrich's get top billing at TireRack for their class but most of the reviews seem to be at low mileage. Of course tires are great when they are new compared to your worn out ones... Right?

I need to know what a good set is that's inexpensive and wears well. BFGoodrich Traction T/A seem to be the way to go at this point....

It also seems that the Yoko Avid H4S and V4S both get great reviews.
