Most of the running shoes are leather and material. The material will not stretch. It may be that you can lace them up a little differently to prevent the foot from sliding forward in the shoe. Look at the laces farthest from the toe, you can redo the laces to pull foot back sort of. If you can't suss it out, go to a good store that just sellsrunning shoes, not foot locker, a real runners store, andthey should be able to help you out.
