Depends if I'm on a 2 lane or 3+ lane highway.

2 lane i pay attention closely to whats around me and usually know if there's a car behind me or beside me, so i just use my mirrors.

3 lane people are changing lanes so often that i have to turn and look over my shoulder, then change.
