yeah shouldnt be too hard, sounds like you just need to tighten them down, use a imapact wrench, if you have one, but either way it shouldnt be to bad.

it probally wasnt on tight enough just try to put everything back together without taking the strut off, if you cant then you have to take it off and re-do it
