Exactly, and it would be able to take some pressure off developing countries governments, freeing up their resources to tackle more pressing issues... pending they aren't exploited as pointed out by Blackmagik.
While we wouldn't make as much in owed interest, we might be able to save in the form of public and private donations which would no longer be needed in such quantities...
