installing them yourself depends on which front kit you get. you can get the anchor bolt style, but people have had problems with those hitting the fender. i have the ball joint style from SPC and it has worked well, but i had to have a shop install them because my friend and i didn't have the right tools. since you have a 5th gen, you can do the rear yourself with parts from home depot or OSH. i bookmarked a decent how-to at home (i'm at work right now), let me know if you want it and i'll post the link tonight. i think i paid $125 or $150 to install the front kit and rear washers and the alignment. i got my kit at http://www.iapdirect.com/
