Welcome. What year Accord? On 5th and 6th gen Accords, pop the triangle off inside the door, that'll give access to the bolts/nuts. On the 5th gens you can unplug the power mirror right there, on 6th gens you need to remove the door panel to unplug it. Not sure what you mean by not snapping in...?
