and one other thing nobody's brought up yet...the 6th gen ran from 98-02...y'all are acting like all he's looking at is 98-00 or something if he wants a 6th gen. yeah i could see that being considered old, but it's only 2005. he could still get a relatively new 6th gen if he goes with an 02 or even an 01. so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to find an accord still in excellent shape and with low miles. and honestly, i'd say you'd be crazy not to buy an accord. it's hasn't won hundreds of awards for the past 20+ years for nothing. when i worked in sales, i never worried about selling a used honda. and if anybody wanted anything else, i'd sell them a used honda before i'd try to sell'em a new chevy. i'd take an accord with 30-40k miles on it before i'd take a brand new impala, malibu, sonata, camry, or anything like that any day. and then if you're looking for performance, people can hate if they like, the accord can be turned into a decent performer...not as a drag racer usually, but it makes a damn good autoX car. and i cant wait to put it on a road course so i can tear some ass in that too. so get the accord, u wont regret it.
