DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES HONDA ATF FLUID.
You will run into many problems. Stick with Honda. I take about 4 quarts to fill it up.
I would just buy maybe 5 quarts and after each one you fill in just measure it.
You'll probably have one or two left over.
Its better to be safe than sorry.


for the PVC valve im not sure.
