Thank you very much for the additional info on the 15k fluid change and no filter. My brother didn't know and he only goes with whatever the dealer suggested. The dealer didn't do anything with the trans fluid up to now 40k. That's really bad. Normally, they would suggest anything and everything even if it is not necessary, why skipped the trans fluid with the facts that transmission is a real going on problem. They even recalled this vehicle to install the trans oil jet (if they did what they said they did) and still ignore the fluid. I will definitely keep an eye on it when it comes close to the next 15k or sooner.

I am greatful that you are helping, so don't be sorry. I appreciate any inputs. I never worked on honda vehicles before, thus I didn't know if it was brown or pink.

Also, I might be looking for a strong magnet and stick it under the fluid pan close to the bolt to catch the tiny metal particles, and pull it off right before draining. The magnet on the bolt is very weak. I hope the extra care would help to avoid any transmission problem in the future. I really like this Acura TL-S, but with all the transmission problems it really concerns me.
