looking at the tech sheets for intakes, you almost always see that the performance changes come in when one is running in the +5k rpms, and its barely noticeable...for noticeable power you have to either swap or turbo your engine, along with the basic I/H/E bolt-ins. Other than that just a plain intake is not going to do much other than sound a bit more aggresive.
