im getting the pistons on friday iv gone for the 9.5:1, iv also been offered a aquamist water/methanol injection kit, the pupme gas over here has a 98 octane rating, am i correct in saying that with the water/methanol mix being injected the octane would be higher or am i on the rong track???
also any thoughts on that intake manifold i found??? is it worth it?
I'm running 10.2:1 compression w/almost 1 bar of boost (13-14psi) runs like a champ. Bone stock and it's making about 280whp.
Don't run more octane then you need, running 98 octane isn't going to be required for your set-up. If your only looking for about 300hp then 92 octane will be more then enough.
