not sure of the legalities. but NEVER EVER EVER mount them to the floor. you HAVE to have a roll cage or some sort of parallel mounting position. think about it, i you get into a wreck and that thing is mounted to the floor, it will compress your spine. if it is mounted parallel behind you, it will hold you back, you know what i mean? and having them for looks is just gay and a waste of money. if you were going to get serious and put in a roll cage, i sure as hell would hope you wouldnt build a nice roll cage then use shitty harnesses with it that are likely to break.
