Yeah, but some places will install the radio for a dollar, or even free. If he can find one of those, he can just get it done there and not void the warrenty on the radio + he wont have to go threw the hassle of installing it by himself. Now the amp is altogether different, no one will install that for cheap/free. But its pretty damn easy to wire that up yourself, just grab a wiring kit and get-tuh work.

Edit: im pretty sure Fry's Electronics does free installs on radios. They got some cheap radios/wiring kits there, might wanna check them out.
