have you compared a c/f hood to a normal OEM hood?

first off, let me level with everyone (if you haven't been around a while, you might not know). My car is slow. Very slow. Automatic, d16y7, no hope for performance. So I just focus on looks and stereo/interior, whatever.

now then, c/f hoods weigh what, 10lbs less than OEM? However, a c/f hood costs less than a shop-painted OEM hood (my hood was mess up, I posted about a wreck a long ass time ago). Since then, my first c/f hood went to crap, and I picked up this one for $200.

I like the way black looks on the car. I have no intention on painting the lower lips, so I figure a c/f lip would look good, as my sir lip has gotten quiet the beating over the years.

good enough?

oh wait, c/f is lighter, and that makes me faster 14secFerio should be my name :reechy:
