I really really beg to differ on this. I understand that the masses are buying the SOHC and thinking it is a VTEC. I definitely agree with you on that platform, but to say that honda has really given up on the enthusiast market is not true IMO. First of all, there is the S2000 and on the opposite side of the spectrum there is the RSX. With the introduction of the S2000, enthusiasts no longer had to rely on the si. Plus with honda's loss of the integra, well not really loss but name switch and style switch, it made up for the discontinuation of the Teg.
