i dont know why you keep bugging me....when you hold all the cards it doesn't matter if they know or not. and who's talking about waving? and there's not much to know about buying a car. if you know the invoice price, you know what kinda deal you're on. you go in, tell them how much u want the car for, either they'll do it, or you go somewhere that will. it's not a dance, it's not an art. it's just that simple. the hardest part for me is picking the car i want. you seem like a weak willed person. im not. i guess you can tell im a bit aggressive. that comes from being in sales actually. you wanna know how you get what you want when buying a car? you take it. you dont have to trick people into giving you a good deal. im not saying anything about waving like a crazy person or beating on desks while you scream demands. im not talking about being an asshole, all you do is find the car you want, drive it, have fun, take your time, pick out the one you want...but once u go into the closing room, funtime is over. it's time to put your game face on. and once he shows you what he wants you to pay for the car, you tell him what you ARE going to pay for it. and when he says he cant do it, then you pull out the info and tell him that he can and either he will or you'll find somebody that else that will. it's not that hard to do. dont let the salesman talk, take control of the situation, and get what you want. that's the key to the whole process. control. the salesman is trying to stay in control so he can hold gross. i know because i was always in control with my customers because i wasn't gonna let anybody walk into my office and tell me how things were gonna work. well it's the same way now that im a customer. i'm walking in with the attitude that nobody's going to tell me how much of my money i'm going to spend, or how im going to spend it. it's just that simple. you dont need tactics and tricks and blah blah, just know what u want before you go and stand firm until you get it. simple. and if you'd stop saying stupid stuff i wouldn't have to get into any kind of match with you. stop giving these people all this damn bad advice. and i really dont give a shit about your dream job. in 10 years hopefully i wont be working at all. by then i plan to be well into real estate (where the big licks are), and have my own business started so that the only person im making rich is myself. and like i said, anybody need any help buying a car, let me know.
