tmobile is the same way, they don't warranty the battery past 30 days cuz the manufacturers don't warranty past that time period. when they send the replacement phone they only send the phone, no battery. i had my old v70 replaced a couple times and every time they sent the phone, with no battery or battery cover.
That's why I have Verizon. They, even though I didn't make sure my insurance was not reinstated on my new plan and thus didn't have it, sent me a replacement v60i. It came without a battery and no back cover, so guess what they did? Sent me a high capacity OEM battery and a new back cover. Too bad their phone selection sucks
