ive help with 3 H22 swaps into EG/EJ civics. We used the OEM interchangeble parts. No major modifications to the engine itself with the exception of a CAI, Header/Cat-Back exhaust/ F22 Oil pans, LSD trans...and we have never had a problem with axles breaking or the gears slipping in 5th.*then again on the track ive never or heard of anyone ever passing 4th gear* ive seen and ran these cars to the 13s on street tires/12s on slicks. Gutted of course. So the power/torque are diffinately there. and yes these cars are daily driven with the accasion we go up to the tracks to run them.

The only times I worked on a car that went through axles like crazy was when i had a B20 in a 90 EF hatch. B20,B16 trans/lsd, exahust.... we went through axles upon axles. Could you possible explain to me why you would be going through axles so quickly. Cuz i cant see why if they were in good condition, unless you beat on them everytime you drove.

*edit nevermind i reread your post... but lemme say the H22s were not beat on while daily driven. *
