ok here it goes. ive been wondering about this for a while so now im going to post it to all of you. i have a 96 GSR and i really want to upgrade my cams to say, skunk2 stage2. but right now i enjoy mileage in the 28-30 mpg range in the city. ya i drive like a ***** most of the time but it pays :fawk: i know that if i got stage2s, my mileage would plummet to what i imagine would be low 20s. correct me if im wrong here. so my question is this: is there a set of cams that i can buy that have stock non-vtec lobes, but with stage2 vtec lobes? i want the car to rip when i hit vtec, but before that i want to maintain my economy. this is sort of the point of vtec anyways, right? does anyone else wish they offered cams like these?
