How come I keep reading about people freaking out about possibly killing yourself when replacing your springs/shocks? I did mine a couple years ago without a spring compressor...stepped one foot on it while on the ground and loosened the nut on the top of the strut. Yea the nut shot off a little but it wasnt that big of a deal, just pointed it at the garage wall. I dont see why people even use spring compressors with hondas? I read a post where some guy claimed the spring shot across the street.....what a crock.
