Yes I did say 24,000. I spent a total of $63,000 on this car including the price of the car new. All parts were purchased new. I spent around $15,000 on the engine, drivetrain, dyno, labor, etc. The stereo system in the car cost $10,000. I am sure if you were to add up the cost of all the parts, you would arrive at around $40,000 in mods. BTW, the blue book on a stock 98 Prelude with 25k miles in mint condition is $10,500. So IMHO, I don't think asking around $14,000 for $40,000 in mods is unreasonable...
