I'm new here so hello

I have bought a performance chip of ebay for my 99 1.8 Accord SE (UK). Twas only £5 and claims to fool the ECU etc etc (see here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=7948249974)

I just wanted to know what people experiences were with these things. It seem too good to be true IMHO. I don't want to cane my engine unnecessarily so what's the beef folks?
