Rusted components? lol. That doesnt neceseraily mean it needs to be changed. Depends what's rusted and how bad they are. The streets get salted where you live? warped rotors and bad pads do needs to be changed though, and stop driving around with the brakes on so you don't warp them again. Sounds like you need to get your lazy ass out on your driveway with some tools, something to drink, a repair manual, and a friend (if you have any that want to help) and do the labor yourself. You can get all the parts for about half the price the shop will charge for parts and labor if you shop around. And it's really not that hard to change rotors and pads.
