When I bought my car, I tested both the base and the Type SH, and I could not tell any difference, at least not enough to justify the $3,000 price difference. Not to mention that the ATTS fluid needs to be changed I think every 30,000 miles, and the system would be super expensive to repair if it ever went bad. So I bought the base, added the factory spoiler, foglights, and leather shift knob with red stiching, and still came out $2,000 ahead before taxes. I will admit, however, I like the SH rims a little better, and I keep my eyes open for a set to go on sale if they come at a reasonable price.
P.S. The turning radius is actually LESS on the base (26.5 feet versus 27.3 for the SH)
