Intake and exhaust have nothing to do with emissions. It has everything to do with the cleanliness of your engine, your EGR, PCV, Cat, etc. Try to use some seafoam cleaner a couple of days before the test and when you're driving there make sure to get her plenty warmed up. Changing the PCV valve wouldn't hurt either.
